Growing up in West Germany, I’ve always been a soccer fan. I  remember when Die Mannschaft, yup I’m old school, won the World Cup in 1990.  The entire country  took to the streets in celebration.  Fun historical fact:  the now unified Germany (no more West & East Germany) won the World Cup a year after the Berlin Wall fell in 1989.

Fast forward to 2026- and the US🇺🇲 is hosting its second World Cup in partnership with Canada and Mexoco.   After trying to buy a nosebleed ticket at SoFi Stadium for over $1,000, I was a bit miffed. But after last Friday’s historic win for team USA!🇺🇲, USA vs. Paraguay  (4:1), I’M ALL IN.

Thank you, Coach Mauricio Pochettino, for reminding us as a Nation 🇺🇲how important it is to show up for our USMNT.   During Friday’s (6/12/2026) game the USMNT demonstrated American exceptionalism as it’s finest. !🇺🇲 

I hope that our country continues to rally behind our men’s team and, through prayer and cheers, help keep the light of victory burning for our USMNT!!!  !🇺🇲

Let’s show the world that during America’s 250th Birthday year, we can kick ⚽⚽⚽during the World Cup. !!!!!! Go Team USA!!!🇺🇲!🇺🇲!🇺🇲!🇺🇲!🇺🇲!🇺🇲!🇺🇲!🇺🇲
